All classes are held at the Churchill Recreation Centre, 345 Richmond Road, Ottawa.
Classes begin in early September and go to the end of April.
BEGINNERS:
Monday evenings, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Teacher: Guy Quesnel (bio)
In the Beginner class you will learn basic steps and formations. You will be surprised how quickly you will be able to go through a complete dance! After a few weeks, beginners join with the intermediate class after the mid-evening break to practice simple dances. You will learn more quickly with the help of more experienced dancers.
Note: The first regular class, after the Welcome Dance on the 9th, will be on Monday, September 16, 2024.
INTERMEDIATES:
Monday evenings, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

In the Intermediate class you will concentrate on learning the dances appearing on the programs of our social events. You will be well prepared to join in the dancing on these special occasions.
Note: The first regular class, after the Welcome Dance on the 9th, will be on Monday, September 16, 2024.
ADVANCED:
Wednesday evenings, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
The first regular class will be on Wednesday, September 11, close on the heels of the Welcome Dance on the 9th.
Teachers: Emily Porter (bio) and Guy Quesnel (bio)
In the Advanced class you will add to your good knowledge of basic formations by learning some more difficult formations, and you will be challenged by a wide variety of dances.
