The highlight of the dancing year is our formal Ball held in Scotton Hall in the Glebe Community Centre. The Atlantic Firth SCD Band will again provide lively music for a special evening of dancing.

Don’t shy away from this last social occasion of our dancing year because of the AGM meeting: we keep it short and to the point because we would all rather dance than talk business. A potluck meal, always a huge success thanks to your contributions, begins the evening.

To begin the new dancing season, we have an introductory evening especially designed for newcomers to experience some simple dancing and become acquainted with our friendly group. So, encourage any adults you know (family members/friends/co-workers) who might enjoy dancing to come along and try it out. Remember to tell them that the first 3 classes are FREE for beginners.

The Ottawa Branch and The Ardbrae Dancers of Ottawa are excited to present a special series of Sunday afternoon Scottish Country Dance Mini-Workshops, featuring talented instructors from each group! This workshop series promises to deepen your dance knowledge, enhance your technique, and explore unique themes that complement and expand upon the traditional Scottish Country Dance curriculum. The first three workshops are intended for Level 2 dancers and up.
